emt vs. Emr?
EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) vs. EMR (Emergency Medical Responder).
LSEMS has both EMT's and EMR's on our squad and both are utilized greatly. Typically members start as EMR's to make sure that EMS is something they enjoy and then move on to EMT school as it is a lot longer and more tedious.

Do I have to come on every call?
Since LSEMS is an all volunteer squad there is no requirements on how many calls you must respond to.
